Kim Moore, ‘The Night Bird’ is a Birmingham favorite, and it’s been that way for quite some time. She began her career a while back at a small Birmingham AM radio station. One of the things she loves about the industry is that it allows you many opportunities to reach so many people. Not just through the airwaves. One of the things she loves about our company Summit Media Broadcasting is how we are out and about. Being a part of our listening community. From Toys for Tots, Kiss Kares, to gathering items for storm survivors, we’ve always been there. It gives her a good feeling being part of the team. Being part of a bigger picture of caring and sharing is the icing on the cake. Our listeners are the best. Whenever we ask, they bring it. Every time. The generosity is inspiring. She always did volunteer work from the Discovery Place to church duties to now. Currently, the Night Bird is a volunteer with Better Basics. Heer school is Center Point Elementary and she has been assigned to read to second graders. Her love of reading is a lifelong journey.
Kim Moore has been with Summit Media Broadcasting since the very beginning and has become of the best loved broadcasters in the market. The Night Kiss is one of the best loved, highly rated programs in the business. Kim Moore is on air from 7pm- midnight.
Besides reading, her other hobbies and interests include music (naturally), collecting Hallmark Ornaments, and cooking–the chocolate chip cookies are legendary! She attends Holy Family Church, where she is an active Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She resides in a Birmingham suburb with Cooper, the 4 year old great Pyreneese, and Paprika, her Lab mix.
